Street Fighter V: Devastating and Diverse Fantastic and WoW game
It’s encouraging to see new and returning fighters that provide an entry point for new players and Street Fighter veterans. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed both characters both of whom are devastating brawlers Fantastic and amazing game.
Both Karin and Rashid have great mix-up options from the get-go, but I’m most curious to see what kind of advanced techniques players find once Street Fighter V is out in the wild.
His V-Skill is a front flip move that, when combined with a kick input, acts like a C. Viper Burning Kick. It even autocorrects in mid-air if Rashid happens to flip over his opponent and he dives at their backside, making for a useful cross-up option. But that’s not all. Different inputs combined with the flip lets Rashid perform a slide kick for a knockdown or roll to avoid projectiles.
It’s hard to pinpoint a comparable Street Fighter archetype for Rashid. Like Crimson Viper from Street Fighter IV, Rashid has a distinct King of Fighters feel. His whirlwind uppercut special move bears resemblance to Kyo and Iori’s flaming uppercuts and he has a flying kick similar to Dan. His special moves are pretty straightforward in terms of offense.
